The film, “The Lamp of Truth”, starring Dr. Varatharajah Thurairajah, who worked as a doctor during the genocidal war in 2009 highlights the reality of serving in the killing fields in Sri Lanka. It is based on real events that occurred in the war zone in Sri Lanka and focuses on the shelling hospitals, bombing safe zone, killing of surrendered civilians that lead to genocide, and the truth that future and current generations should be told.
