This movie does very well articulate the situation of a doctor who was serving the public during a war crime. The doctor’s emotional pain part of handling the surrounding and the pleasure part of standing up to serve the public has been brought out well balanced through out the movie.
The movie starts very slow for the first 10 minutes, and it picks up the momentum of bringing raw and core materials of the true happenings until the end. The ending of the movie details how the medias are set to lay out and broadcast scripted messages by forcing the victims.
Specifically, the boy who played the depressed character acted very well to bring out the message of - how a war situation treats a child minded innocent - and how ignorant a military can become as the violence amplifies. The director of this movie created a scene of placing a wheel right after the death of that innocent boy – which tally with the same feel of Karna dying at the wheel in Mahabharata.
This movie has given absolute justice to a niche aspect out of the many inhumane happenings in Sri Lanka. I encourage the producers and the team to work on further more future project together. And wish all the very great success with this one!
